I originally found this book back on my winter chautaqua in 1990 in a bookstore in Berkley. I had read Callanbach's Ecotopia and found Ecotopia Emerging. Right next to EE was this fine effort...YV88. What was done to Yosemite in the past by those swaggering elitists was horrible for this land. This book and its lovely drawings allows for the true lovers of wilderness a chance to dream...to visualize what could be.
