Life Changing!

This book was both encouraging and life changing. The author has a unique way of using words that transform destructive thoughts about oneself and powerful words that help you to see your self worth. This book was a healing tool for me; it revealed some truths and changed the way I view myself. I LOVE THIS BOOK

Awesome book about self respect

The writer explains from a christians point of view the worth you have in God's eyes: Loved, wanted and valuable. With a unique reason to be here. He is a psychologist, so he uses many examples from his practice to show how it may look like when your view of yourself does not match how God sees you. It's was a real eye opener that impacted my life in a very good way. Highly recommended!

Changed my self-esteem forever

My freshman year of college was a very difficult time. I struggled with liking myself. I struggled to make friends and feel accepted. I found comfort from this book as I began to really believe in my heart that I was special for who I am inside. My self concept is no longer based on external factors like performance or looks. It is based on who I am in Christ! I am now 32 years old and would still recommend this book to others struggling with these issues. Too bad it is no longer in print!
