Louise L Hay is one of my favorite authors. You really can't go wrong with any of her books. "You

"you can heal your life" was my first introduction to Louise L Hay. Since then I have been giving "you can heal your life" and the companion book to many people over the past 35 years. I don't know if any of them ever read it or did the workbook, but I know these two books have helped me immensely!! Get the special edition copies, they are beautiful!! Louise is kind of lite reading but very helpful. Enjoy!!!

Sound Advice

Time and again this lady has provided sound advice on healing broken lives, finding health, prosperity, and getting in touch with one's spirituality. Good teaching simply written in clear concise language. I have been in study groups who chose this book to study and discuss. You Can Heal Your Life Companion Book

Just because it is similar doesn't lessen the work. I have been a facilitator of "self healing" groups for over 15 years. Of the dozens of authors there is none that brings the message forward as simply and beautifully as Ms Hay. If you can only own one book, get "You can Heal Your Life" don't let its simplicity fool you. I have purchased so many dozen copies for clients, and friends.(and i keep coming back to it over and over again. If this information is taken to heart or embraced everthing will change for you. The companion book and or the workbook are great additions but worth it. You are worth it.(inventory books like this help you see patters, behaviors and new ways of approaching them. I haven't listed to in some years but "GET any CD" on :self healing: and "what I believe" and prepare to be uplifted. I Cannot Speak for ANYONE ELSE

I enjoy the exercises in this book. Instead of writing on the pages, I use post it notes in the event I may feel the need to revisit the exercises at a later point and time. It may be a remake of another book, but I don't have that other book, just the "You Can Heal Your Life" book itself. This is a good thinking exercise book to help you work through your problems and change old thinking patterns that hold you back.

An excellent companion

You Can Heal Your Life Companion book is an excellent guide to begin work on yourself. Most companion books I have seen are all journal entries or vague questions that don't help me clarify my specific problem areas. This book is divided into every area of your life that you may need to look at: beliefs, health, fearful emotions, critical thinking, addictions, forgiveness, work, money and prosperity, friends, sexuality,love and intimacy, and aging. For example, the fearful emotions chapter begins with a checklist of issues you may have. Then, Louise Hay gives reasons for these type of thoughts. She moves into an exercise in letting go (very useful to me). After that, you write down your fears in different areas of your life and create affirmations to change your thought patterns. She ends the chapter with a meditation on feeling good. There are many good exercises in each chapter depending on the problem area. Namaste.
