It's Like Two Books in One

"When I Grow Up," from the "Yoko and Friends School Days" series is like two books in one. The first half of the story focuses on Yoko trying to decide what she wants to be when she grows up. She likes the idea of being a teacher. The second half is really dedicated to what happens when somebody takes the Netsuke figurines that Yoko brought to school. Those that have seen the "Timothy Goes to School" TV series will know that these are two different stories on the TV show. But they're together in one book here. This is a slice-of-life school story that any child or Rosemary Wells books fan can enjoy.
