This book is for those who do not want an over simplified yoga program, nor an overly complicated one, and wish for a common sense program finding a good balance between elementary and advanced. Followed in order, the asanas each complement the preceding one, for a full body workout, in a minimum of time. The introductory info is simple, yet concise and useful, and the exercises can be for the beginner or advanced practitioner. Yoga is part of my cross training workout regimen, and this book, and Cheryl Isaacson's other books are my preferred guides, after having read many others.

This is a wonderful book for anyone starting out with yoga. The author gives step-by-step verbal instructions plus pictures showing how the poses should look at various stages of your practice of yoga. I highly recommend it.
