Mister Skye and his wives get stuck spending a summer guiding an idiot English Lord up the Yellowstone river. The rub of British social classes against one another add a layer to this story that makes the reader root that much harder for the common man. Once again, the descriptions of the wilderness and praries of what is modern day Montana, are spot on. The author takes his readers back in time, and does it very well.
