One of my favorite yaoi series

Goh and Taki are some kind of 'good thieves'. They steal mostly drugs from the bad guys. They don't know much about their employers, but there are hints that they are hired by the police. As such the story is quite action packed and Goh and Taki have to avoid some pretty dangerous situations. But as a team they can rely on one another. On the personal level it's a little bit more complicated as Goh is gay and Taki straight. But that doesn't keep Goh from trying his luck with Taki. Volumes 3 and 4 are a little bit different than volumes 1 and 2. The first two volumes consist of shorter stories that focus mainly on the different jobs Goh and Taki have to carry out. The last two volumes on the other hand are one big story which reveals a lot about Goh's and Taki's past. And thus I strongly recommend to only read volume 3 when you already have also bought volume 4, because when volume 3 ends you'll be desperate to read volume 4 straight away. ;-) Yellow has an excellent story and the drawings are gorgeous. There's also a lot of humor in this series. Overall an excellent yaoi.

Amazing!

The final chapter to the series 'Yellow' was amazing. Makoto's drawing style is magnificent and her ending to the series was perfect. I highly recommend that anyone who enjoys Yaoi purchases this and the rest of the series. ^_^

To really appreciate this book you would need to read the first three. But this was one of my most favorite yoai books ever. It was a very well done ending to an interesting story.

Love this BL manga series!!

I really enjoyed reading this manga series.Intriguing story,well written,well drawn,one of the best BL manga lately .This is one of those that I cant wait to get my hands on the next volume and the characters in this manga seem very alive to me.Love how they ended the series.It would be neat to see if they made this into an anime -a 12 episode series like Gakuen Heaven but at a PG rating or not.

A wonderful conclusion!

Just finished reading vol 4 and am 100% satisfied with the wrap-up of an amazing and gorgeous series. My hats off to this mangaka. Vol 4 has all the elements we come to appreciate in Yellow : the tightly paced plot, the characters interaction and above all the angst and intensity of Goh's and Taki's love for one another, and of course the hot sex, even one with bondage (grin..). We cannot ask for more, except an anime (I can dream..) My final question to myself is : Is Yellow better than Fake (my first taste of the Yaoi world) ? I have to admit "Yes" as I expect to be rereading Yellow Vol 2, 3 and 4 more frequently than even Vol 7 of Fake. You are not into Yaoi if you do not have "Yellow"!
