In this book they don't. Would My Fortune Cookie Lie? By Stella Pevsner is about two girls and a little boy, Alexis, her brother Tyler, and her friend Suzy. At first they think a man about the age of eighteen is shadowing Suzy. Then they find out somehow that he is really following Alexis and Tyler. He follows them everywhere but Tyler doesn't know. So one day they went to the zoo and Tyler walked off and starts talking to the man that is following them. The man asked about Alexis then Suzy and asked if he could get their phone number so they could talk more. Tyler gave him his number but not Suzy's. So later on in the book Alexis goes to get Suzy some frozen yogurt and she runs into the man that is following her and Tyler. Is she in danger? Does he want to talk? Will she find out what happens next? I like this book because I like mysteries and drama, and there are at least three or four things going wrong in this book. And the author talks about Soap Operas and I love to them because it's drama and mysteries. Face on the Milk Carton, Whatever Happened to Janie?, What Janie Found, and The Voice on the Radio are also mystery books by Caroline B. Cooney.

This book is my personal favorite because of the total suspence it causes. It's about a city girl, Alexis, and her best friend, Suzy. There adventures trying to find out who's "shadowing" Suzy. Or who they THINK is shadowing suzy! Little do they know what the twisted future holds for them!
