Wonderchild review

This book was purchased 16 years before I had my first child. The content resonated with me as I work with teenagers in overcoming their fears, believing in their dreams, and reconnecting them with themselves. (and then it started working on me). Though it may seem 'out there' (cosmic thoughtfields??? Timelessness???) I applied the concepts and ideas, and fellow counsellors often wondered how I managed to create those powerful and lifelong 'living' experiences for my participants. There is no secret - it's from Wonderchild. I agree with the reviewer (June 2006) that the book may not be agreeable with everyone - esp the 'routine' and 'logical' types. I am a marketing professor and consultant - not too 'out-there' a type I hope? However, if one is open and trusts the process, magic emerges....like how my little one is now. From the book, you will get to see parenting differently. Its about loving your child, as well as uncovering and loving that child inside you. You 'parent' the child as much as the child 'parents' you. If you understand what I mean, then I think the teacher has appeared. Enjoy. dalai.lau@gmail.com

This book changed my life

I wish someone would re-publish this book. It was written way before its time - now is its time and it cannot be found anywhere. It contains more simple, heartful wisdom than any modern child care book - with games, ideas and feelings that need to be taken in by every parent.
