Witch Trial left me with questions

The book is good light reading, enjoyable regarding witchcraft and characters. The BIG problem is the book ended without an ending. Murder unsolved and the Mazzy issue unsolved. Too many questions left unanswered or is that how all her books end. Not sure I want to read any others by her.
