It is a very interesting book. I found out about it reading an interview with a scientist. It is not a new book, it has been around for a while. If you are in the Medical field, or intend to be, you should read it. For me, it got a bit overwhelming sometimes because of the details that I was not familiar with, or had an understand of. It shows how the body, although not perfect, is a clean machine, and with our help with eating right, can go a long way.
