Making upgrading and configuring a little easier.

Think back to the early days of computers when DOS 6 appeared on the scene. Remember how important is was that there was some sort of reference material for the beginner. Now along comes Windows 2000 and this concepts is even more important now.Martin Mathews knows how important this, and as an author of for than 50 books on computers, he has taken the time to make sure even the most inexperienced users will be able to use and work with Microsoft's newest creation, Windows 2000.For under $40.00, this 600 plus page book covers both the Professional and server versions of Windows 2000. There is also coverage of migrations issues, deployment issues, networking, Internet communications, customizing and administration of both server and professional.Lewis makes it easy to understand and the book is easy to follow. There are also eight pages of network blueprints to give you an idea of the different configurations possible. If you preparing for any of the new exams, this book is only a guideline. You will need other material to study from. Overall this book exceeds my expectations and is one I will begin to use in the training arena. Matthews is certainly proved to the reader why he highly respected in the IT industry.
