Excellent book

A great overview of the West with some picture detail. Wonderful pictures, like a museum in a book as all of DK's Eyewitness books. A high schooler might enjoy this book too but would need more in depth info for a report. LOVE the DK books!

Good History

I'm still reading this book but it is excellent. I was so tired of those books that dealt with tales instead of truths.
