My daughter loves this book!

I bought this book on a whim for my 2 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! The stories are very fun, and the illustrations are beautiful! There are short and longer stories and poems, so there's one we can read, no matter how much time we have. My daughter normally likes to read books, but this one she carries with her everywhere and wants to read over and over.

Great bedtime book

This is a stunningly beautiful book. It features the work of many different childrens' authors/illustrators. It's a lovely book to dip into at bedtime - open it anywhere and you've got an appealing song or story. My only criticism is that it feels too "special" as a hardback book. At that price I don't want my son tearing at the pages, so it's been relegated to occasional use only.

Rhymes which will engage children acqiring language

I know my students will enjoy the rhymes and aliterations which are found through out this volume. The illustrations inspire whimsy and fun. I hope others discover this wonderful book for developing early language skills in very young children.
