Highly entertaining, well paced storytelling

Having only read Deborah Blake's non~fiction work I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am definitely not disappointed. The storyline really works, the pacing and character development are good, the romance isn't too over the top, and more than once I laughed out loud ( who wouldn't, with a dragon masquerading as a pit bull ). Not only is it a thoroughly entertaining story, it makes me want to dive more into the lore of Baba Yaga.
