Good look into the Amish world

When Hannah Lapp refuses to admit to something she didn't do, her Old Order Amish community turns against her, branding her a moral failure. Isolated and unable to find support from the people she's known all of her life, she makes the most difficult decision of her young life. Her choice throws her already torn family into more turmoil, especially her jealous younger sister, Sarah. Cindy Woodsmall's book is a good look at life in one Old Order community-the good and the bad. I look forward to reading the second book in the series, When the Morning Comes (Sisters of the Quilt #2).

When the Heart Cries has been such a joy to read. I became immersed with the characters, especially Hannah. So many times throughout the book I wanted to reach in and hug her, tell her everything is going to be alright and tell her what a strong young woman she is. I cannot say anything else without ruining the story for future readers... and I know there will be plenty! I can't wait to buy the next book in the series. In fact, I am going to do that now! Cindy Woodsmall is one of the best new authors out there. She really knows how to captivate her readers!

Great series!

When I saw another series out with an Amish theme I thought, "Oh brother! Another one jumped on the bandwagon." But this is really a good series. I just finished the second one and am anxiously awaiting the third installment in the series. I heartily recommend this to those who love to read the Christian fiction genre...or just love a sweet story without all the heavy breathing!

Not just another Amish novel

This book is grabs ahold of you and you cannot put it down. Amazing writing and story telling. The combination of romance, thrills, heartache and suspense leves you wanting more.

Great Book

Definitely recommend this book! I enjoy reading about the Amish community and was interested in reading from a new author. Looking forward to more books from this author! She definitely did her research! Great job! If you enjoy reading, I would put this one on your list of books to read. Enjoy.
