From the introduction to the final words, this book represents what Peter admonished to husbands about living with their wives, namely,"You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and showher honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered." (I Peter 3: 7)The Co-authors of this book --- The Father, The Son & The Spirit --- have helped me to see you through Their understandingeyes......understanding your story as a fellow heir of the grace of life ...... that is......Their life lived in you......the grace life......seeingall these moments ...... all these memories ...... as well as the forgotten ones.....as memories of a fellow heir of grace.As I truthfully declared in the introduction, I have never experienced the level of joy at the core of my soul that I have experienced fromponderously communing with the Trinity in "noticing, valuing and loving" your life in this writing......and the joy of embracing myparamount purpose in life...... remorsefully, a purpose that I have not adequately embraced for much of our time together......namely, tobe in communion with The Father's, The Son's & The Spirit's exclusive design for me to live with you in an "understanding way" --- nota way that attempts to understand you or figure you out --- but a way that connects with Their understanding of you......in otherwords......embracing my exclusive purpose of joining Them in......"noticing" the work of grace unfolding in your storyembracing my exclusive purpose of joining Them in......"valuing" you as "a fellow heir of the grace of life"embracing my exclusive purpose of joining Them in......"loving" you as They love you.While there is no possible way to re-live the years gone by, the desire of my repenting heart over the past two and a half years of thiswriting has been to prayerfully unite with the Trinity to co-author with Them .....not just from a renewed perspective --- but more from arenewed heart --- portions of our story that we have shared over the past 60 years together......with the specific purpose of "noticing, valuing and loving" you as They do --- "as a fellow heir in the grace of life".I don't anticipate that this writing will ever make it to Barnes & Noble or Books A Million or your local family Christian Book Store......nor is it likely to be found on the shelves of the libraries of the world. But, if it finds it's place in the store of your heart......then itwill be exactly where it was designed to be......and if the words on the pages herein bring some measure of life to the deepest part of yourthirsty soul.....then, with tears flowing down my own cheeks as I conclude this writing, it will have accomplished what it was designed toaccomplish by...... The Father, by The Son, by The Holy Spirit alive in me to Notice......to Value......to Love...... You
