Excellent resource for anyone who cares for children

This book is an excellent resource for teachers, child care workers, staff or volunteers of disaster relief agencies, or anyone else who works with children, as well as for parents. It gives a good overview of the types of behaviors you are likely to see in children affected by crisis and appropriate responses to those behaviors, as well as comfort for adults who still need to care for children even when they are impacted themselves. Keep some on hand to help staff deal with large-scale or small-scale crisis - from hurricanes and tornadoes to domestic violence and homelessness. Highly recommended.
