This was just what I needed to read at a time when I was feeling a little down. I found it fresh, wise and inspiring.

Wake up, choose love

Affirming our life as it is right now--no matter how difficult or joyful--D'Arcy guides with poetic insight from the depth of her own experience and reflections, offering an invitation (and challenge) to love, to trust, to be with, to let go. The chapter "Live With An Open Heart: Practice Love" is particularly exquisite. I will share "Waking Up To This Day" with men and women, of all ages. An excellent spiritual guide for our times, D'Arcy writes, "There is no way life is supposed to be. There is only life" (p 57). I am grateful for this book.
