Whether you're a newcomer to Virginia or a visitor - or a life-long resident, you'll be sure to find inspiration for countless day trips in your car in this intriguing book. If you love history, there's plenty for you to discover, including the farmhouse where Stonewall Jackson's arm is buried - and where people often leave lemons, a Jackson favorite, at the grave. If you enjoy pop culture, there's plenty for you in this book, as well. The author's personality shines through, as early as in the book's dedication - which is to her husband, who doesn't listen to a word she says, and to her horse, who doesn't miss a word.
