This book is phenomenal for adding perspective to the Italian American culture.

I love all of Angelo Pellegrini‘s books. As an Italian American kid. There’s not much you can relate to living in America. Especially when you grow up exclusively with Italian in the Home. You go somewhere else and there’s no Italian anywhere. Just mockeries of the culture. It’s very hard to fit in, When you have to laugh at people openly making fun of your culture. It’s like you’re making fun of me but you want to be my friend. Even to this day and I am 34 now.
