Vintage Art: Alfred Stevens: Ephemera Collection is a curated portfolio of artwork by Belgian painter Alfred mile L opold Stevens (1817-1875). Stevens was renowned for his detailed portraits depicting modern women in elegant clothes. His work was first displayed publicly in 1851 at the Brussels Salon. Throughout his career he received several accolades, notably a third-class medal at the Paris Salon in 1853, the Legion of Honor (Chevalier) in 1863 and a first class medal in 1867 at Universal Exposition in Paris.
