Lance woke up with amnesia in a mental hospital. He would like to believe he is like any other guy. Escaping the hospital he is feeling drawn to a small town that he is not native to all the while unaware that he is being tracked by a vengeful vampire. One by one the clues begin to fall together as he makes friends and enemies in the small town of Quigley South Dakota. His new benefactor has his own agenda that includes Lance putting down roots. Meanwhile the town is being sucked dry one farm at a time as the vampires wind their way inward and growing in number. Finding his faithful husky Dirk Lance begins to put the pieces together. He bands together with the only group of misfits who have discovered the vampires. A local role playing group, a school guidance counselor, bar owner and a priest battle to rid the town of the vampire take over. Can they find the master find the head vampire and end the threat before the CDC quarantines the town. Can the Calvary of ninjas led by a crime boss provide the support needed to save the town? If Lance does survive can he escape the clutches of the small town or will he spend the rest of his life in the middle of nowhere?
