Great Diplomatic history

This is by far one of the best books on the matter I have read. While most books focus on the historical issues surrounding the breakdown of US-Nicaragua relations, David Ryan successfully traces the negotiations on both a multilateral and bilateral level. His incorporation of primary sources is exemplary as his research is based in official declassified sources.A great book if you are interested in the diplomatic negotiations surrounding this period of time.
