Above all, says Finkel, women need to make informed decisions, and to do what they need to understand the potential benefits and potential harms accompanying mammography.

Very accessible and interesting!

This book is very well written and weaves an interesting dialog about the cross-over between science and politics with regard to patient health issues. I found it very useful! You don't have to be a doctor or medical professional to understand what Dr Finkel is talking about, which makes it one of the few books about health that has widespread appeal along with being very informative. Definitely buy this book if you want to learn more about an important topic and its treatment in today's society.
