#9 OF THE MEN OF MYSTERY/PHOENIX BROTHER SERIES

Know that all of these stories stem from the Men of Mystery before the sub changed to Phoenix Brotherhood. This is a bit unusual, agent John Edmonds comes from NSA instead of the CIA. He is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, an expert marksman, and an electronic warfare expert. That doesn't mean he wasn't above being seduced. Kelly Lockett inherited her older brother's charity foundation and his enemies as well. She was attacked, under stress and emotional strain. So when John rescued her she just naturally? climbed into his arms and spent the night there after a little hanky-panky. She couldn't believe she had done that. Well, when she showed up at Phoenix headquarters she let that slip to Griff and got John fired. Yikes! She sure hated the allegations that her brother was mixed up in supplying money to terrorists. Ah well, she had to be rescued again. Good thing John was there. Someone on the inside must be after her. Who knew the code to her brother's mansion? Her questions of the charity board was going to get someone killed. Who and what was "The Covenant"? Ethan Snow, another agent that raised the question of the charity's placement of their moneys shows up to help John in the end. His story is next, still tracking "the Covenant"? Quite a nice list of characters - excellent plot - slowed only for a bit - hate to run out of these super-slueths stories. Definitely Recommended --M

Hot Romance

This book provides the perfect combination of intrigue and romance! The story also involves an independent female character/heroine, which is not typical for most romance novels. A great book!
