Received this book as a holiday gift, and my initial reaction was that it seemed gimmicky. But after reading it I have to say that it was one of the better gifts I got last year! It contains a number of good tips and suggestions for going green, and lots of interesting facts, historical anecdotes, and information about nature, wildlife, and sustainability. It covers a wide range of subjects, and each section is a quick and fun read. The writing is light and "easy to digest." I recommend this book (makes a great gift!).
If you are green this is the book for you

From cover to cover (and printed on recycled paper) this book explains the environmental movement in great detail. Everything from the latest recycling technology to "green" funerals is included in this book. If you are at all interested in the planet Earth and what is being done to fight waste and pollution this is the book for you. If you are not particularly interested in ecology and the green movement then you will be bored.
