Lord Chillingsworth's reputation precedes him--the infamous "Frost" is as legendary on the field of honor as he is in the bedroom. Which makes it surprising that young Emily Cavell has taken up the cause of closing Frost's favorite gambling hell. Who does this brazen, flame-haired beauty think she is? Emily's vendetta is personal: She is determined to take a pound of flesh from Frost, who ruined her sister. But the man she meets is not the cold-hearted devil she imagined--and is twice as handsome to boot--and soon Emily finds herself falling for him. Their battle of wills quickly ignites into blazing desire. Could it be that the most jaded Lord of Vice is finally willing to risk everything and gamble on her heart? Or is true love only a fool's game? Twilight with the Infamous Earl is a Lords of Vice novel from Alexandra Hawkins.
I started with Sin’s series and decided I couldn’t read one without reading the rest. Truthfully, since starting the series and having been introduced to Frost and his character I will admit I was looking for more. Though I was able to finish the book, l did put it down a few times. I guess as the last lord or vice to give up his bachelor status I was expecting more. In addition, there was never closure with his mom. As with all the other books in the series, I was looking for an epilogue to see how all the lords of vice ended up, but there was none. If I am not mistaken, I believe only Reign’s story has an epilogue. But, overall I will continue to read Alexandra Hawkins books.
