Listening to a priest's eulogy whilst attending a friend's funeral, retired but unfulfilled English lecturer Dr Mal Small experiences an earth shattering epiphany. Essentially, why wait until one's earthly demise to celebrate a person's life? Mal, with the assistance of two close friends and his wife, formulates a business plan to address, what he believes to be a glaring 'gap in the market'.
