great reader for looking to getting into turkey hunting

I gained an interest in turkey hunting after seeing wild turkeys in N. California and wanting to learn more about them, how to hunt them and prepare them. . I think this book covers the first two aspects very well and with good detail.. Preparing the turkeys in my opinion fell short when it came to dressing (plucking , chopping, cutting, scooping, slicing) part. i know the book isn't a cookbook and is geared towards hunting. we've all see turkeys before, but being inexperienced, I wasn't able to vision it all in my head and pictures or at least line drawings of the dressing process would have made this book more clear/precise and a perfect 10 for me. Throw in a color photo of the Grandslam and its an 11... -------

Great Book-Tons of Useful information

This is a great book for someone trying to learn tactics in Turkey Hunting. It covers many aspects of the sport and talks tactics and strategy. I was very pleased.

Very knowledgeable. He has a lot of information about all the different turkeys, habits, where to find them, calling etc. I would highly recommend.
