In 2012 The Rolling Stones published their book, 'The Rolling Stones 50' and released a DVD 'Crossfire Hurricane' celebrating their long career. The following year we three fans decided to write our 50+ account of being life long Rolling Stones' fans. The title of our book,'Turbulent Tornado...The Other side of the Plectrum,' reflects the relationship the fans have had and still have with this band.This book is unlike no other Stones book ever written. It contains memories and reflections of three fans in words and unique candid photographs, spanning five decades of adventure, exhilaration and elation of seeing and meeting...The Rolling Stones!We have ventured to tell a narrative without high flown exaggerated language as it is our desire to tell wholly the truth as we saw it at the time. We hope that you will get to know the band as they really were and are, without the hype that surrounds them nowadays...here are just some of our memorable encounters and photographs.
