Move that truck When a truck gets stuck under a bridge, it causes a terrible traffic jam. Backed up and going nowhere fast, the commuters give up and throw an impromptu block party--complete with balloons, parade, and lemonade When attempts to remove the truck fail, two kids, some balloons, and a dog save the day. Sparse text, energetic rhyme, and clever illustrations bring depth to this simple tale. Ideal for young vehicle fans and lemonade-stand entrepreneurs.
This is my 2-year-old son's favorite book. We had it from the library for several months in a row and finally had to buy a copy. He loves naming all the different vehicles that are stuck behind the truck, and he now yells "viaduct" when we go by a bridge. The illustrations and great rhymes are engaging. We gave a copy to my cousin's new baby, and his older sisters love it.

This is one book that my husband and I don't mind reading over and over and over, which is good because this is my 21-month son's favorite book. My son likes the rhythm of the words; most are one syllable and easy for him to repeat. We love talking about the illustrations and what the different people are doing from page to page. We're ordering our own copy after borrowing it multiple times from the library.
My three-year is obsessed with this book

We received this book for my son's third birthday. The vivid and detailed pictures and fun language makes him laugh every time. Six months later he is still asking for me to read it to him many times a week. A truck gets stuck, lemonade is served, the media is called in to cover the chaos, there's an Elvis impersonator thrown in for good measure -- what's not to like?
