Could be his best work!

Triumphant Return is a Triumphant Book! This needs to be read! Jeffery is one of the most important figures on Christian prophecy. He has written one of the major fictional accounts of the Lords second coming and the End of Days but book is NOT fiction - this is real! This is a great book as well as a great work of Christian prophecy, the New World Order and the Antichrist. Jeffrey knows his stuff; he has written and spoken about the Messiah, the Apocalypse and Armageddon. If you have any doubts, he will remove them. Read before it's too late! For a very compelling docudrama DVD Movie on the End of Days see: The Final Events DVD The movie is great because it shows CNN like news reports of what will happen during the End Days. Both are well recommended. The movie is also good to show unbelievers as it is very powerfully convincing.

How Firm A Foundation !

Dr. Grant Jeffrey has submitted yet another invaluable study of eschatology that places this book among the important reference works of our time. Remarkably, that has been true of each of Dr. Jeffrey's books this reviewer has had the pleasure of reading. As the world hurtles downward into chaos, great comfort is derived from examining the detailed development of end-time prophecy confirming the trajectory, which is after all merely the adumbration of Our Blessed Hope! And Jeffrey is a master at amassing delectable insights from the ages to establish documented authoritative positions to behold. The author opens stressing the importance of the Second Coming, and niftily weaves that golden thread throughout 'Triumpant Return', citing historical works from the early centuries as stepping stones to our present day. His helpful chapter on understanding prophecy displays the reality that Christians truly do possess '...a more sure word...' (II Peter : 1:19} Paul's admonition to 'comfort one another with these words.' finds fruitful bounty in 'Triumphant Return.' A solid historical refutation of the preterist viewpoint

In today's eschatological quagmire, too many "nominal" churchgoers have some passing interest in prophecy material, but are unable to separate the wheat from the chaff when it comes to analyzing the various positions to determine which one truly gives the correct Biblical perspective. The dispensationalist, pre-millenial position, while held by many, is often not defended rationally by those who hold it when confronted by arguments given against it. This is not the case with Grant Jeffrey. Again and again in his various books, he makes the solid case for holding to the proper viewpoint of pre-millenialism. One effective way he does this is to rightly strip the opposing viewpoints of one of their alleged "weapons": the historical information provided by early church writers. Jeffrey shows in this book that the early church recognized that the book of Revelation was not written until the last decade of the first century A.D. This fact by itself destroys the whole preterist perspective, because preterism, even by the admission of its adhereants, cannot stand if Revelation appeared after 70 A.D. Jeffrey gives sincere believers seeking real answers to the main issues of eschatology the kind of historical information that other pre-millenial writers rarely present. This kind of information by itself makes the book a very good resource for those who have become confused by the claims of a-millenialists that the pre-millenialist perspective is "a recent invention" by a small handful of prophecy writers.

One of the author's best!

Mr. Jeffrey very capably defends and explains the Dispensational, Pretribulation, Premillenial view of Bible Prophecy--and along the way, shows his readers some INTERESTING quotes from the Quran, having to do with WHO was given the Holy Land. (HINT: It's NOT the Arabs!) A well done book--RECOMMENDED!
