Techniques needed to solve these puzzles:

From 1 to 10, the puzzles in this book rate a 6 in difficulty. Except for the last puzzle, I did not resort to X-wing. And there probably was another way to solve it without X-wing given that none of the other puzzles needed it. The hardest technique I used was hidden triples, and only a few puzzles needed that. It takes me forever to find hidden triples. It is not a hard technique, but for me it is time consuming. Most puzzles used a combination of straightforward things like naked pairs, naked triples, pointing pairs, and/or box-line reduction. You probably already use these techniques, but perhaps call them something else or don't have a name for them. Really advanced techniques such as XY-chains, Swordfishes, or Jellyfishes were not needed. And I did not have to get out my colored markers even once. Which makes this book ideal for taking with me to places where I am likely to wait. I hate carrying around a handful of colored markers! :)
