A Must-Read for Anyone Involved in the Printing Industry!

If you are in the printing industry and want to increase your bottom line, this is the book for you. There are so many books on the topic of lean manufacturing these days and more popping up every day but few integrate true real-world experience as well as the author has in this one. The book is very well laid out, almost as a step-by-step guide for improving manufacturing effectiveness, specifically for printing companies. The tools and how to implement them are described in excellent detail. There's even a number of handy checklists and several pages of very well-written guidelines to help those driving the lean process to focus on the areas that return the greatest gains. Overall, the book covers every 'pain point' that those in the printing industry suffer from on a day-to-day basis and shows how to systematically correct these ills to regain manufacturing capacity and improve overall effectiveness. Additionally, and probably most importantly, the book explains how to sustain the gains that have been achieved. This book is a clear winner and a must-read for anyone involved in the printing industry.
