At foot of p. 23: "A lecture upon the removing of tenants is published, to serve as a specimen of the work; and, the class is to be opened in St Luke's Lodge .. upon Monday the 18th of November next.." Ross's 'A discourse upon the removing of tenants' was published in 1782 and his 'Lectures on the practice of the law of Scotland' in 1792, both in Edinburgh.
