Excellent text and illustrations

This is a perfect book for teaching a preschooler about time. When you think about it, that's a pretty huge concept to have to explain--but this book does it, clearly, and with delightful illustrations.

Will appeal to today's young children

What is time? One could go on a long scientific answer, but that's not going to answer it for a child. "Time is When" is a children's picturebook looking to answer that question for young children without a masters in a difficult science. Originally written forty eight years ago, the lessons for young children still stand tall, and with new illustrations from Marthe Jocelyn, "Time is When" still will appeal to today's young children.
