Women of all ages will love this book!

My book club adored this book. It is a description of a single pivotal day in the life of three generations of women living together in a Victorian house in London. The grandmother is a paleontologist facing a horrendous career decision; the daughter, a mathematics student turned dropout and gardener, is up against a health crisis; and Maggie, the 15-year-old granddaughter, flies with a dragon at night and knows she must soon bid him goodbye. (Does she "really", or is it a metaphor for the childhood innocence and fantasy she is about to leave behind?) The day is significant for a different reason for each of the women, and the book brims with insights into the various stages of women's lives. Women, and reflective, thought-full men will love this story.
