perfect for boys

My son loved this book when he was little (he is now 20!), and I am sad to see that it is not available new, as I would have loved to give it as a gift this Christmas. It's a perfect read-to book, because the illustrations are marvelous.

Very Original Little Boy Adventure Story

My youngest son is 20 now, but if I had seen this book when he was little, I'd have gotten it for him in a flash. The little boys in this story are very true to life in a way not often found in the average children's book. They act before they think, they don't say much, and they communicate with a punch in the arm.The story moves swiftly with just enough scariness to engage a little boy. It's a fun, smart story that will entertain the adult reader, too.
