This Place to Honor

Great fictional story based around a striking history of NY City. It starts at the time of Billy (the Butcher) Brannigan and the gangs of NY. It's a generational novel following three families who form multi-generational bonds over 100 years, all who reside in the same house at one time or another on the lower east side. It's prequel is REMEMBER THIS HOUSE. It would have gotten 5 stars, but I felt the ending was rather weak compared to the rest of the story. It does make you want to read the prequel.
