Handy, but limited

This is a great book for finding new places to shop. Unfortunately, a lot of the links are dead - the unfortunate side effect of publishing Internet information in print form.

A Wonderful Read!!

I picked this book up at my library,started looking through it,bookmarked so many pages that it was getting ridicules, plus in between looking up and bookmarking these sites on my computer. So I am now giving up and am about to order the 2007 edition for my very own! This book is just crammed with cool sites,and some you just dont care about,but hey, the research has been done for you,so have fun with it, I did!

On-line Shopping

This is a good rendition on the various websites in existence for a variety of goods and services on the internet. The volume is well organized. It is easy to read and the price is reasonable. An update of the volume would be in order for the 2007-2008 period; otherwise, the current book will suffice. This book would be helpful for identifying websites specific to the current needs of the customer. A beauty of the work is that it is easy to locate product classifications with a minimum of effort. The acquisition would be helpful for anyone who shops frequently on the internet.

Thepurplebook was extremely helpful to me! It's so difficult and time consuming to navigate through the internet for good sites and the purple book is a wonderful guide. It's made it much easier for me to find what I'm looking for. I wish I would've known sooner that this book existed!

Great resource

I picked up the book last week and found sound great sites I didn't know about - was able to get some holiday shopping done early for once. Great for those hard to find gifts, as well as everyday items. Very user friendy, highly recommended.
