Drawing on ancient grimoires such as the Egyptian Book of the Dead , The Key of Solomon , and The Magus , this fascinating, thoroughly illustrated look at wizardry through the ages uncovers all the secrets, spells, and sorcery of this ancient magical profession. Journey to sacred sites, and discover rituals that reconnect you with the powers of nature. Find out about Egyptian, Native American, and Druidic magical practices, and how to make powerful wands, talismans, amulets, and other wizardly tools. See what a wizard's life once was, and what it has now become, and enjoy stories about such famous examples as Merlin. Mix up potent potions, start a wizard's journal, and comprehend the mysteries behind philosopher's stone, spellcraft, and the Kabbalah. A "what must a wizard know" section explains all the basics a wizard must master, including an understanding of the energy flow of the cosmos.
For anyone interested in learning more about the magic arts or anything along those lines then this is good place to start. It is a fountain of information that will leave you wanting more. It is well put together and well illustrated. Lots of history too. The book was a pleasure to read. I will be on the look out for more books by these authors.

I picked up this book after seeing it and i first thought it was going to be a silly Harry Potter clone, but i was surprised! This is a really good book covering alot of topics in a concese way. It is easy to read and understand and is just beutiful to look at also. It covers many of the topics of wizardy without going into the whole witchcraft thing too much. It also talks about like many of the anicent wise men also like Soloman. If u r looking for a book on WIZARDRY and not witchcraft then this is a good start.

This a a good begginers only guide covering many topics in the field of Witchcraft. Tells about famous wizards and secret societies and helps you on your way to mastery of the Art. A great glossary at the end is a big help. I recommend it.
