What I have Learned from "The Woman Within"

I have been through several twelve step programs, and would work through the steps to a certain point...then stop. With this book of devotions for women in recovery, my progress has been significant. As my internal relationship grew more intimate with God, my external relationships grew deeper with my husband, children and friends. Each day was a blessing to read the scripture references and short story; then to pray and acknowledge my feelings as they surfaced. Sometimes the devotional time brought tears, sometimes laughter, sometimes, a desire to forgive or be forgiven, and always a desire to become the woman God wanted me to be that day.
