The last 2 "acts" were a disturbing disappointment

To me, the fictionalized ending acts were wrong-headed, because they seem to blame the victims for not saving everyone. That's just offensive.
That said, the third "act," with its detailed portrayal of WW I trench warfare, was absolutely stunning.
