Marrin serves up little known juicy details, and context; writing in a narrative style that retells history as a page turning epic. By far the most fun I've had reading a history book- as with favorite fiction, I was disappointed to come to its final page. A must read for adults and older children(a bit too gory for most elementary school aged) who think American History is boring.
