slow cooker deliciousness

For starters, here's my background: - I'm not an intuitive cook. (I need cookbooks!) - I'm not vegetarian, although I usually eat meatless dishes. I've tried five of the recipes so far, and each one has been a winner. I've made the lasagna and jambalaya dishes several times, because they're so good. I'd like to work my way through the book, although I doubt I'll ever make the banana bread recipe, which requires using a coffee can.

Pretty good

A few weird dishes that I wouldn't do in a slow cooker (they're in other slow cooker books too) but the dishes that seem like they should be cooked in a slow cooker that I've tried have been very tasty. I use it when my other cookbooks aren't inspiring me. Recipes are very easy and straightforward

Finally -- a vegetarian slow cooker cookbook!

This is the first & only vegetarian slow cooker cookbook I'm aware of -- which is long overdue. A nice variety of recipes & a handy little size. Includes main dishes, side dishes, soups, stews, beverages, sauces, breakfasts, and desserts. I've tried a few recipes and was very pleased with them.

Vegetarian Slow Cooker lacks color photos but the easy dishes don't need them: they are complete with simple instructions for using crock pots, slow cookers, and multi-cookers to produce delicious vegetarian dishes. Main dishes, soups - even cereals and breads are covered here, but the heart of any vegetarian book lies in its main courses, and here such dishes as Picadillo Sweet Beans and Macaroni and Cashew Cheese don't disappoint.
