Great for Reference and/or Quick Study

The writing style is excellent--instructions are clear and not overly wordy like so many books. The author gives excellent tips and explains how and why she does various tasks with Excel. I've been using Excel for quite a while and was amazed at how much I picked up from this book. I do training for new Microsoft Office users, and have recommended this book as their official Excel reference. My only complaint is that some of the screen shots are somewhat small and difficult to see for folks over 50. I guess this is a trade-off for the compact 6x9 inch size. But overal, this book is excellent. It provides many tips and the easy, most efficient ways of doing things in Excel. It is a great aid to quickly get people proficient in Excel.
