Changed my life

It is hard to imagine what Chris went through and is still going through to this day. He is very strong willed and determined. I had the pleasure to go to school with Chris through middle school and it wasnt until after the accident and through reading this book that I learned the extent of what had happened. In a matter of seconds his entire life changed, yet he still keeps going and going. This book is one that your high school and college aged children need to read, it may change their outlook on th way they live their life.

An Incredible Journey

I was deeply touched by Chris Shinner's book. His unwavering honesty about his life and decisions prior to his accident are unblinkingly acute. His experiences, feelings, and thoughts after the accident are written without a trace of self pity, but show a depth of wisdom (and pain). His description of his faith journey is inspirational as is his willingness to reach out to other young people in sharing his story. This story is really a triumph of love, faith and hope.
