This book is a must-have for the student of Honiton lace. From the five beginner pieces, to the amazingly complex raised and rolled work for advanced lacers, the book provides a wealth of information, prickings, and patterns. Though not filled with color diagrams or pictures of work-in-progress, the prose explanations are easy to follow. Ms. Luxton also includes instructions for many different fillings. A terrific reference book for future lacing.
