I have actually owned this book before, had it stolen from me, and liked it so much that I bought it again. A very good read for those of us out there who enjoy BDSM.

I loved the extreme suspense and erotic The Switchtension she wove through her characters. She kept me on edge from cover! to cover.

Now THIS is erotica/romantica!

I;ve enjoyed all of Diane Whitesides' works, but this was so authentic and contemporary as to be extra-enjoyable. There is a story (that's always a good sign). The characters are multi-dimensional and real. Instead of the over-the-top, unrealistic drama of some erotica and romantic novels, we explore the thoughts, fantasies, fears and hopes of real people--people with whom the reader can identify. The sex feels very real--a bit too real, perhaps, with the exhaustive inventory of safe-sex products--but she certainly illustrated that one can be madly, pervy erotic...and also be safe. He's kinky, she's kinky...and they're both not just okay with that, but are okay with celebrating that. A great read and very affirming. I don't know when I've felt so simpatico with both main characters in a BDSM novel.

Deliciously erotic!

Diane Whiteside's THE SWITCH is lusciously erotic, with a hot Alpha hero paired with an intelligent, strong willed heroine. In Sean, Diane has created a man who is a switch -- either a sexual dominant or a submissive, depending on his and his partner's needs. Sean is a hard-edged warrior and leader of men, but he's also very human. Widowed after a sexually frustrating marriage, he's trying to find a way to fullfil his needs while remaining a good father to his 18-year-old son. He's denied himself for years to avoid exposing his boy to a lifestyle the kid doesn't need to know about. When he meets Beth, he finally has the opportunity to taste the pleasures he's always dreamed off. Beth, too, is dealing with family obligations which aren't a good fit with her needs. All of this makes THE SWITCH more than just a sexual romp, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Steaming hot read!

The Switch is the story of Ex-Army Ranger Sean Lindstrom and his romance with Dominant Beth Nakamura. It is a beautiful, rich and moving story. Sean is not a wimpy hero, even though he has a submissive side. He's an Alpha hero which makes this story even more amazing. There are wonderful twists and turns that will keep you guessing, and the story will have you reaching for a fan! :-) The Switch is one of best erotic romances I've ever read and I highly recommend it.
